Back ... ... in Lubbock

I was in Ames Iowa for about a month, visiting my sister. It dawn on me that I was back in Lubbock when I began to feel the heat. I just realized how much I missed the cold weather and the green color outdoor.

Not much happen in Iowa. My sister moved when I was there, so I helped her to move. I hang out with her friends. Most of her friends are undergraduate students. I felt old, really old, mentally, when I was there with them. Attending grad school and writing dissertation really changed my point of view.

On my way back, Fong Ko called me to tell me that a new Malaysian student in Montana State U mentioned my name and I just remembered that I recommend a student that I met when I was in Malaysia applying for my new visa to Montana State U. Fong Ko got an interview from a company in Laurel MT for a position and he will get an answer in 2 weeks.

Also Pili got several phone interviews from some companies and universities. I really hope that both of them will get a job soon.
